Served with the United States Army from 11 May 1980 – 01 Aug 2001 Retiring as
a Service-Disabled Veteran and taking permanent residence in the Fort Hood Texas
area.
Assumed duties as the GSA Sales Manger for Nortex Modular Space upon
retirement.

While serving in the Army as a test support officer / NCOIC with the Army
Test Command, was in charge of developing and procuring a test facility for 1200
personnel consisting of over 45,000 square feet in office space. Many of the
facilities required secure information processing capabilities. Additionally
managed another 110,000 square feet of office space at six different locations
within the command. The procurement process involved approvals/waivers from
local command through the Department of Interior. This process gave me great
experience for the present job I hold as GSA Sales and Project manager for
Nortex Modular Space.
Projects handled for Nortex Modular Space have been from 800 square foot
office trailers to multi modular units consisting of over 40,000 square feet.
 | The U.S. Army fort Hood Artifact building Approximately
3,600 sq ft with fiber-cement sub floor, 9 foot interior ceiling, fire-rated
interior finishes, split HVAC system, treated wood deck, ramp and canopy,
gutters and downspouts, steel exterior and membrane roof. Completed with in 45
days |
 | U.S. Army Reserve Command Fort Hood complete turn key
project of a 56’ x 112’ Modular Office facility with poured-in-place concrete
foundation, stucco exterior, nine foot interior ceiling, fire-rated commercial
interior finishes, fire alarm system, telecom wiring, fiber-cement sub floor,
commercial grade fixtures, handicap restrooms and poured-in-place concrete
decks, ramps and landings. Project was completed with in 160 days. |
 | The U.S. Army CTC Training Facility Fort Hood,
consisting of 6 different structures over 15,000 square feet. This project
was completed during 2 different time periods. Both completed within 60 days
from contract award. |
 | US Army New Equipment Fielding Facility (NEFF), Fort
Hood, Texas, 6,000 square feet with lay in ceiling, LAN/Telephone, painting
and texturing and concrete stairs/handicap ramp. All site installed. Job
completed within 90 days from contract award. |
 | US Army Ft Hood over 20,000 sq ft of Medical complex’s
requiring extensive communication and fire safety equipment. This was two
complex’s one approximately 5,000 sq ft and the other approximately 15,000 sq
ft. |
 | The U.S. Army Fire department at Fort Hood, two separate
projects the first in 2000 and the 2nd in 2002 both fire dept
living quarters totaling 4,900 square feet. The building features stucco
siding, single ply roof, guttering and downspouts, treated wood decks, steps
and handicap ramp, fire alarm system, fire sprinkler system, fire-rated walls
and doors, steel exterior doors, restrooms with shower facilities, food
storage, kitchen, laundry room, TV room, dining room, private office and
dormitory for sleeping. Each project was completed in 75 days |
 | The U.S. Army Substance Abuse Clinic, Fort Hood, Texas,
3,800 square foot with lay in ceiling, LAN/Telephone, concrete stairs and
handicap ramp. Completed within 90 days of contract award. The US Army NEFF
project was ongoing at the same time as this project. Both completed on time
and accident free. |
 | The U.S. Army Community Center at Fort Hood, Two
separate projects consisting of concrete foundation, pitched shingle roof,
roof overhang, wood siding, on the first and stucco on the 2nd, treated wood
decks, steps, and handicap ramp, private offices, handicap restrooms, a
kitchen, and meeting area. each project was completed in 90 days |
 | The U.S. Army at Fort Hood DOL consisting of two
buildings totaling 4,300 sq ft. telephone data and fire alarm provided in the
project that was completed in 45 days. |
 | The U.S. Army Fort Hood Recycle Center approximately
1,800 sq ft completed with in 45 days. |
 | The U.S. Fort Hood various lease contracts for the
following Organizations, DOL, Provost Marshal, DOIM, and Contracting. Total
of 12 separate buildings all being delivered and installed with in a week from
the time of order. |
 | The U.S. Army Fort Hood Black Jack Brigade medical
facility consisting of approximately 2,500 sq ft medical center for the 1st
Cav Div completed in 45 days |
 | The U.S. Army OTC at Fort Hood installed 27 separate
buildings totaling over 35,000 sq ft. Relocated other structures and provided
numerous remodeling projects for other buildings. |
 | U.S. Army, Fort Lewis, Washington, five 36'x64'
Classroom buildings and one 28'x50' Break Room/Restroom facilities building.
The 13,000 square foot project completed within 90 days of contract award.
Required critical coordination with DOIM, the JOC contractor and DPW. Had a
time line that had to be met in order for the new brigade light tank testing
program to begin. (MACOM project) |
 | US Army, Fort Hood, Texas, Community Life Centers,
installed two separate buildings. Both within 75 days from contract award.
Both involved major on site construction to match surrounding environment. |
 | US Secret Service, President Bush’s ranch, Crawford,
Texas, project involved in-depth coordination with the FBI, White House
communication center, Secret Service, and the White House contracting office.
Project completed within 45 days of contract award. Critical time line and
several special applications required with this project. |
 | Federal Law Enforcement Training Center, Glynco,
Georgia, installation of 24 separate buildings in three different locations
consisting of over 34,000 square feet. Each Contract completed within 90 days
of award. 3 separate contracts. |
 | US Air force, Hurlburt Field, Pensacola, Florida, Hill
Air force base Command and Control facilities, Utah, 3 separate projects. All
completed within 90 days of award. On time and incident free. |
 | US Army, Camp Roberts, California, Signal Inelegance
Command, Remote site, project completed within 60 days of contract award.

 | US Navy San Diego, CA Communications facility over
27,000 sq ft with extensive communication and security requirements. Project
completed within 120 days of contract award. |
 | U.S. Air Force at Good fellow AFB; 70' x 112' modular
classroom building with 14 classrooms, a fire-rated central hallway, recessed
entries, commercial glass entry doors, fire alarm system with transmitter,
marker boards, central HVAC, guttering, and a main electrical distribution
panel with wired crossovers. Manufacturing, delivery and installation were
completed on October 11, 2002, two weeks ahead of schedule. |
 | U.S. Air Force at Randolph AFB installed a 1,600 sq ft
lease office building with treated wood decks and canopy. |
 | U.S. Air Force at Hill AFB installed a 1,800 sq ft
office building with in 30 days. |
 | U.S. Air Force at Carswell AFB installed 5,300 sq ft
consisting of 3 buildings project completed with 39 days from order. |
 | U.S. Air Force at Davis Monthan AFB installed a 20,000
square feet, on a turnkey basis, which included a secure Secure Containment
Information Facility with Telecom wiring, Motion sensors, Fire Alarm and Fire
Sprinkler system, exterior was finished with a site applied stucco and all
decks and ramps constructed from concrete and steel. Project was completed
with in 120 days. |
 | U.S. Army at Ft Stewart installed over 25,000 sq ft
consisting of 11 buildings being manufactured and installed with in 45 days
from the time of order. |
 | U.S. Army Fort Stewart At Hunter Army Air Field
installed a 2,900 sq ft secure facility with concrete side walks, fire alarm
and sensors with telecom wiring all completed with in 90 days from award. |
